C MOBILE NETWORK GAINS ETHICAL ACCREDITATION

C Mobile has been set up to accelerate change towards environmental best practice in the mobile phones industry and donates up to £1 month to local renewable energy projects per subscriber. They sell the most ecologically friendly phones from all the manufacturers. These are designed with modern recycled materials where possible and they also sell 'as new' refurbished handsets, and SIM only. Chargers stop charging once the battery is fully charged and they include solar charged energy store for charging your mobile phone. The use of harmful substances in the manufacturing process is carefully monitored to reduce the impact on the environment once the phone is finally discarded.

C Mobile also encourages return of old mobile phones which are then recycled and re-sold where repairable. The packaging for C Mobile handsets is made from recycled materials which are, again, fully recyclable.
